Description: The transition to zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) is gaining momentum around the world. In order to build and foster that momentum and maintain confidence in the transition to decarbonized transport , a number of issues will need to be addressed by government and industry decision-makers over the next years.
This event hosted by the Zero Emission Vehicles Transition Council (ZEVTC), will first cover the launch of the ZEV Declaration, and focus on Emerging Markets and Developing Economy (EMDE) countries’ experiences with the challenges and opportunities presented by the transition to ZEVs. This event will also see the launch of a new strengthened support offer, which has been under development since COP26. This will include the new Zero Emission Vehicles Emerging Markets initiative, co-led by WBCSD and the US and UK governments.
