Transition Partnerships: Developing new public-private architecture to deliver on the green economic opportunity

This session will explore the concept of Transition Partnerships, the development of institutional architecture that enables governments, businesses and financiers to align missions and unlock co-investment to close the implementation gap in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). It will spotlight existing examples of Transition Partnerships that include WBCSD and others, such as the Zero Emissions Vehicle – Emerging Markets Initiative and the Farmers First Clusters. It will explore common characteristics, and how efforts can be scaled worldwide.
