Building Climate Resilience for APAC Industries & WBCSD Networking Reception
As climate impacts intensify, APAC industries face a pressing need to build resilience against these challenges. This session will focus on the findings from the “Building Climate Resilience of the Indian Industry” report by CII, which offers insights into prioritising strategies and actions to strengthen resilience in key sectors. The conversation will explore industry-led adaptation approaches, cross-sector resilience solutions, and the role of public-private partnerships in accelerating climate resilience.
The session will begin with a keynote presentation by a CII representative, providing a summary of key findings and recommendations from the Building Climate Resilience of the Indian Industry Summary Report . Following the keynote, a panel discussion will bring together four experts from various sectors in APAC on climate adaptation and resilience strategies. Moderated by WBCSD, the panel will explore sector-specific challenges, identifying and prioritising adaptation strategies, and opportunities for collaboration across APAC industries. We will wrap up the session with a WBCSD networking reception.
