Turning Transition Plans into Reality

To date, transition-plan thinking has generally focused on what to disclose, and how to assess disclosure credibility. But how do organizations work towards an actionable and investment-worthy plan; and how do organizations make sustainability an inherent part of their commercial strategy and business model? This is where transition planning comes into play. 

Building out and embedding transition planning takes time and prioritization efforts. Through primary research and industry engagement, WBCSD and ERM have brought together a view on this matter in a report that will be launched during COP29. 

This by-invitation-only breakfast session will see presentation and discussion of key elements of that work, including: 

* Key findings and recommendations from the WBSCD and ERM primer ‘Transition Planning for Resilient Business Transformation’, a practical ‘how to’ guide. 

* Must-have elements of Transition Planning, including integration to financial planning and business transformation. 

* Industry case-studies and perspectives on overcoming these challenges.
