COP29 Business, Investment & Philanthropy Climate Platform
WBCSD is a delivery partner for the COP29 Business, Investment and Philanthropy Climate Platform (BIPCP). This pivotal event is being organized by the COP29 Presidency and the COP29 UN High-level Champion for Climate Action.
Building upon momentum of success of the inaugural Business and Philanthropy Forum at COP28, the COP29 Business, Investment and Philanthropy Climate Platform will begin with a gala dinner on the evening of November 13, followed by a full day of impactful discussions on November 14, aligned with Finance, Trade, and Investment Day. Mobilizing capital at scale and fostering innovative financial solutions are essential to support sustainable economic growth, address climate challenges, and drive long-term resilience. The Platform will bring together opinion-leaders, philanthropists, corporates and financial institutions, within the Blue Zone at COP29, with a focus on solutions towards 2030.
