Every job is a nature job: mainstreaming biodiversity across businesses

 To effectively halt and reverse biodiversity loss, nature-related considerations must be integrated into the decision-making process across every aspect of business operations. This requires moving beyond sustainability teams and ensuring engagement throughout the wider business, including with procurement, operations, finance and leadership/C-Suite teams. To achieve this, companies need support and practical guidance to build capacity for different parts of their workforce. 

By recognizing that every job is a nature job, this session will focus on how organizations like UNEP-WCMC, WBCSD and UNGC enable different business functions to understand and address their nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities. We will showcase lessons learned from organizations that are already engaging their employees on nature topics, offering insights into effective strategies for mainstreaming biodiversity into all levels of business.
