How the agri-food sector can contribute to the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) vision

How the agri-food sector can contribute to the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) vision

Agri-food is one of the sectors with the highest impacts and dependencies on biodiversity and ecosystem services and one of the most essential to human life and the well-being of our society. We need to better understand where the greatest pressures are, in which industries and through which commodities – and work together to address them. Leading corporates and organizations are translating their GBF target assessments into relevant actions to reduce and avoid negative impacts and to deliver biodiversity gains. For this event, panelists will illustrate full value chain perspectives linking the ACT-D (Assess, Commit, Transform and Disclose) framework to tangible action and results. We will provide an example that connects the full agri-food value chain and stages of ACT-D , including required and voluntary disclosures.

Featuring: WBCSD, CDC-Biodiversite, World Benchmarking Alliance, Yara International, Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures and other companies and partners.
