Business, Youth & Indigenous People’s dialogue session

Location: Nature Positive Pavilion
Host: WWF, WBCSD, Business for Nature
Date: 11 December 2022
Time:  15:00 – 16:00 EST

Description: It is widely recognized that it will only be possible to stop and reverse the catastrophic loss of nature and the impacts of this on current and future generations, indigenous people and economies if all of society comes together to protect and restore our planet.

We aim to bring representatives of Business, Youth and Indigenous People’s groups together in a Chatham House event at the Nature Positive pavilion around the biodiversity loss crisis. During the event representatives from these three stakeholder groups will be invited to share their expectations, priorities and worries for the Global Biodiversity Framework with each other. We hope that through a moderated discussion it will be possible to create a space for dialogue, to identify areas where the groups have shared priorities as well as to have further discussions on any areas where there may be conflicting positions in the hope that a better understanding, collaboration and action can be fostered between the groups on these issues.
