Agriculture in the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework: Scaling up business action and multistakeholder collaboration to reverse nature loss

Description: This session explores the role of business and other key actors in the agriculture value chain in contributing to the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (target 3, 10, and others), specifically in shifting action from conventional farming systems to sustainable practices. Speakers, including private sectors, farmers, countries and finance will share (1) practical examples of land-based and nature-based solutions that contribute to reversing nature loss; (2) highlight the role of key actors in the agriculture value chain for successful implementation; (3) identify some success factors that must be considered to scale up business action and multistakeholder collaboration.
