Convened by the High-Level Climate Champions for Climate Action, the UNFCCC’s Race-to-Zero Dialogues will chart how entire sectors are investing in an accelerated transition towards a zero-carbon future.
As part of the Water Reuse Renaissance Dialogue, WBCSD has been invited to present Wastewater Zero as a game-changing solution on mitigation or adaptation that the water sector/community offers in a breakout session.
The sustainable management of water resources and water-related ecosystem services hold significant and largely untapped climate mitigation potential. This event will showcase the water community’s vision of a zero-carbon, resilient future and the water-related tools and solutions needed to win the Race to Zero.
The session will be 45 minutes, it will provide a rapid overview of the Wastewater Zero report – focusing on the action framework, policy asks and commitment mechanism – include a panel discussion with representatives of key stakeholder groups and finish with a call to action for business to commit to Wastewater Zero.
