Natural Climate Solutions and the Voluntary Carbon Market

As the global community intensifies its efforts to combat climate change, businesses seek to understand the role of voluntary carbon credits as a mechanism to deliver their commitments and go above and beyond their net zero associated targets. The objective of this session is to raise awareness and knowledge of the role that Natural Climate Solutions can play in corporate climate strategies, and how these can be financed through the Voluntary Carbon Market. We will explore recent advancements in integrity and quality within the VCM, highlighting initiatives such as the VCMI and ICVCM. Businesses will learn how they can effectively manage supply and demand side risks associated with the VCM, utilizing tools such as due diligence to safeguard their sustainability efforts.
