Advancing Public–Private Partnerships for scaling sustainable agri-food supply chains in India, with an initial focus on Madhya Pradesh

This session will explore the potential of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to drive climate mitigation and adaptation in India’s agricultural landscapes, highlighting opportunities for public-private partnerships to scale investments with impacts for land-based emissions reductions and removals and associated co-benefits. The session will present insights on overcoming challenges, catalyzing investments, and unlocking climate, nature, and community benefits.

Additionally, it will provide an overview of relevant initiatives WBCSD is involved with that can support scaling up of companies sustainable agri-food supply chain programs, with an initial focus on a collaborative opportunity in Madhya Pradesh, a key agricultural state.
