Physical risks are accelerating in scale and complexity, creating cascading impacts across ecosystems, infrastructure, supply chains, asset values, and financial systems. At the same time, biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation are reshaping the operating context for corporates and investors, introducing new sources of volatility, disruption, and strategic risk.

This session will explore the key challenges and opportunities associated with proactively addressing physical and nature-related risks across operations and value chains. Participants will have the opportunity to deep dive into physical risk quantification, examining practical approaches to assessing exposure, evaluating financial implications, and identifying, both risk mitigation and value creation opportunities.

Combining expert perspectives with business case studies, the session will provide participants with practical tools to quantify physical and nature-related risks, integrate them into financial models and aiding in prioritizing mitigation and adaptation strategies across assets and value chains.
