WBCSD at London Climate Action Week
21– 29 June 2025
London, England
London Climate Action Week 2025 (#LCAW2025), running from 21–29 June, will leverage London’s unique position as a global hub to drive climate action locally and internationally. By mobilizing its diverse ecosystem of climate and non-climate organizations, LCAW is a key steppingstone to shape international climate diplomacy ahead of COP30, support a just transition to a net-zero and resilient London and UK, and strengthen collaboration across the city’s “climate cluster” of 250,000 professionals in the public, private, and third sectors.
This year’s program focuses on four key goals: influencing global climate policy, advancing a fair and inclusive climate transition, aligning efforts across London’s climate ecosystem, and promoting whole-of-society engagement. LCAW also serves as a model for other cities by encouraging participation from sectors like education, culture, and sport—broadening the climate conversation and inspiring wider action.

As the leading community of global businesses making sustainability performance a key driver for competitiveness, WBCSD will host a dynamic agenda at London Climate Action Week (#LCAW) to support businesses in accelerating global climate action. In alignment with the #LWCA goals, London will bring about the opportunity to convene the WBCSD member community with policy makers, financial institutions and other key stakeholders in the ecosystem to accelerate the business solutions that tackle climate challenges, strengthen value chain resilience and deliver business impact on the road to COP30. Join us at #LCAW for a deeper dive into:
- Valuation & the business case for sustainability,
- Physical risk/transition planning,
- Adaptation planning,
- Just Transition barriers/solutions,
- value chain impact: decarbonization and collaboration,
These focus areas will enable discussions around the practical solutions that deliver business value and long-term resilience. #LCAW will also provide a strategic platform for WBCSD and its members to shape policy engagement ahead of COP30, bringing the collective voice of progressive businesses into the climate dialogue and driving the transformation required this decade.
