Decarbonizing ASEAN’s Built Environment Part 2: Policy Dialogue

This dialogue co-hosted by WBCSD and Greenprint will introduce the Market Transformation Action Agenda for the Built Environment to an ASEAN business and policymakers audience in order to support a shift towards Whole Life Carbon assessment of buildings as a driver for competitiveness and resilience.

Participants will get the opportunity to discuss the benefits of a Whole Life Carbon approach and the current barriers to widespread adoption, and they will together develop an action plan for how it can be mainstreamed with businesses as well as regulators in the region.

This event will discuss the key findings from the business and stakeholders workshop (Part 1) happening earlier during Ecosperity week. It will bring in business case examples and learnings from decarbonization efforts across key commercial real estate asset classes, including data centers, retail and office, and manufacturing and logistics.
