Product Carbon Data as Economic Infrastructure

Carbon Data Is Becoming Economic Currency: Is Asia Ready?

Date: 18 May 2026
Time: 14:00 – 15:30
Venue: Singapore Land Tower, The Executive Centre – Level 4, The Auditorium
Partner: Singapore Business Federation (SBF)

As global supply chains face carbon border measures, sustainable finance requirements, and rising corporate decarbonisation expectations, product-level carbon data is emerging as critical economic infrastructure.

This high-level panel discussion will explore how interoperable product-level carbon data supports trade competitiveness, investment decisions, procurement strategies, and industrial transformation across APAC.

Co-hosted by the Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT), and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), the session will bring together voices from government, finance, and industry to examine what decisions depend on product carbon data, and what risks economies face if interoperable infrastructure is not in place.

The session will also reflect on progress one year after the PACT–SBF partnership announcement and position Singapore’s evolving ecosystem as a connected node within the global carbon data network.
