Welcome to WBCSD Annual Meeting 2026
Geopolitics, trade wars, diverging regulations, misaligned markets, rising physical risk, climate volatility, nature loss, and inequality are reshaping the operating environment for business.
To support our members as they navigate a rapidly evolving global landscape, beginning 2026, our long‑standing Montreux gathering will take on a fresh new direction as the WBCSD Annual Meeting – the flagship annual convening for our member community, combining Liaison Delegate and Council Meetings into one unified event.
The Annual Meeting will bridge boardroom discussions with the sustainability agenda to help our members address the challenges before us, explore practical approaches and decision-making practices to achieve long‑term value creation.
Going forward, the Annual Meeting will have much broader functional representation to support the integration of sustainability in company strategy, decision-making and operations, with the participation of C-suites and other executives representing critical functions such as Finance & Investment; Business Strategy; Legal & Compliance; Procurement & Operations, Marketing & Communications; HR & Talent.
Featuring dedicated tracks for Council Members and other C-suite representatives, alongside Liaison Delegates and technical experts, the program will equip leaders with the latest insights, data, frameworks and tools to navigate uncertainty, build resilience and translate sustainability into business performance.
Program
Structured around three dedicated tracks and an enhanced networking experience, the program allows participants to to move through the meeting based on their role and priorities while engaging in meaningful interactions to tackle common challenges:
Executive Track
A dedicated space for Council Members and C‑suite leaders to tackle board-level decisions and strategic trade-offs shaping long-term value creation. (Liaison Delegates are welcome to select sessions as observers)
Implementation Track
Built for Liaison Delegates and technical experts, offering deep dives into practical implementation, targeted learning, and solution co‑creation to accelerate organizational alignment.
Business Case Track
Highlighting real‑world member use cases that demonstrate how sustainability unlocks new markets, enhances resilience, and drives enterprise‑wide value creation.
