Dialogue on the Transition of Coal in India: Towards an Equitable and Sustainable Transition
25 June, 13:30 – 15:30, Godrej One (Invite only)
Coal transition has emerged as a critical imperative in India’s journey towards sustainable development and climate action. With the country’s heavy reliance on coal for energy production, addressing the phase-down presents both challenges and opportunities for stakeholders across sectors. Considering this, WBCSD is convening a roundtable discussion to delve into the complexities surrounding this transition, identify key drivers and challenges, assess the readiness of companies, and explore pathways for a sustainable and equitable transition away from coal.
