Data driven pathways to wastewater zero<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9571-wastewater-zero---a-critical-pathway-for-business-resilience\">23 August, 11:00 &#8211; 12:00 CEST<\/a>\u00a0 &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9930-wastewater-zero---a-critical-pathway-for-business-resilience\">\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9930-wastewater-zero---a-critical-pathway-for-business-resilience\">25 August, 21:00 &#8211; 22:00 CEST<\/a><br \/>\nUntreated industrial wastewater impacts climate, biodiversity and water security and is a long-term business risk. This session will highlight the critical role of industry in managing wastewater and explore ways in which industry, government and investors can collaborate for better data collection for informed decision making.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Water Impact Protocol for the Food and Agriculture sector companies &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9696-water-impact-protocol-for-the-food-and-agriculture-sector-companies\">24 August, 13:00 &#8211; 14:00 CEST<\/a><br \/>\nThe food and agriculture system generates environmental, health and socio-economic externalities through freshwater withdrawal and pollution. Businesses require practical tools to account for these externalities. This session will introduce the Water Impact Protocol for the Food &amp; Agriculture companies and involve a discussion on key issues for impact valuation &amp; management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. \u201cTry using less water\u201d: Exploring the water-energy-climate nexus &#8211;<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9862-try-using-less-water-exploring-the-water-energy-climate-nexus\">25 August, 15:00 &#8211; 16:00 CEST<\/a><br \/>\nThe LA Times recently published the article \u2018Want to save energy and fight climate change? Try using less water\u2019 which highlighted water is the forgotten link in the global fight against climate change. This session brings together actors collaborating in the 50L Home Coalition and their experiences exploring this challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Will the WASH response to COVID-19 strengthen supply chain resilience? &#8211;<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9750-will-the-wash-response-to-covid-19-strengthen-supply-chain-resilience\">23 August, 13:00 &#8211; 14:00 CEST<\/a><br \/>\nPanel session discussing the importance of access to WASH for workers in global supply chains as a way to build resilience to future shocks. Experts from the ground (i.e. factories in supply chains) and business strategy will share the lessons learned from the deployment of WASH interventions for workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Values as the spark? For better decision-making on water &#8211; <\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9749-values-as-the-spark-for-better-decision-making-on-water\">25 August, 13:00 &#8211; 14:25 CEST<\/a><br \/>\nDo values offer an entry-point to making better water-related decisions? Yes! A diverse group of presenters and panelists will share how values may guide systemic transformation. Participants will interactively engage in valuing water dilemmas &#8211; an appetizer for the values survey that we hope many SWWW2021 participants will join.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. The private sector\u2013water and climate resilience in uncertain times &#8211;<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9894-the-private-sector-water-and-climate-resilience-in-uncertain-times\">23 August, 14:00 &#8211; 15:00 CEST<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9893-the-private-sector-water-and-climate-resilience-in-uncertain-times\">24 August, 13:00 &#8211; 14:00 CEST<\/a> &amp;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9892-the-private-sector-water-and-climate-resilience-in-uncertain-times\">25 August, 14:30 &#8211; 15:55 CEST<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldwaterweek.org\/event\/9914-the-private-sector-water-and-climate-resilience-in-uncertain-times\">26 August, 07:30 &#8211; 08:55 CEST<\/a><br \/>\nWater insecurity is a critical business risk, likely to be dramatically exacerbated by climate change. Business leadership is vital to surmounting our climate-challenged future and building water resilience.
