World Economic Forum Annual Meeting

22-26 May 2022

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2022 will convene at the most consequential geopolitical and geo-economic moment of the past three decades and against the backdrop of a once-in-a-century pandemic. The meeting will bring together over 2,000 leaders and experts from around the world. As in previous years, WBCSD will host and support several action-focused meetings with members and partners to advance the critical sustainability agenda. Davos Breakfast – Delivering equitable, net-zero, nature positive business models in a volatile world

We will begin by discussing the delicate balance businesses face whilst reacting to immediate global events along with the need to address the combined threats of climate change, nature loss and poverty. This event will also illustrate how to take integrated action on climate, nature and social equity by drawing on practical, real-life experiences.

Living wage, co-hosted by Unilever and BCTI

This session co-hosted by Unilever and the Business Commission to Tackle Inequality (BCTI) will explore the urgent need for collective action to help realize a living wage economy and the respective roles that business, government, investors and civil society need to play in driving progress.

Nature positive dinner, by WWF and BfN

This high-level dinner will bring together business, government, international organizations, and civil society leaders to accelerate progress towards securing a nature positive world, aimed at helping deepen our individual and collective commitments as nature champions and advocates, and also drive more action.

True Value of Food dinner: An action agenda to secure affordable, sustainable, fair, and healthy food

The aim of this dinner is to raise awareness, show leadership, and commitment, call on solutions towards helping achieve the True Value of Food, giving continuity to the virtual WEF affiliated True value of Food event that took place last January and to truly accelerate tangible action and work towards Paris and the 2030 SDGs.
